We're building the most opinionated, detailed, and useful coffee guide Austin has ever seen. Not a directory — a guide. Every shop is visited, every drink is tasted, every review is written with one question in mind: would we send a friend here?
We believe the best coffee recommendations come from real people with real opinions — not algorithms, not paid placements, not crowds of anonymous reviewers. Just honest, detailed takes on what's good, what's great, and what's worth going out of your way for.
Our Rating System
Every shop is rated across five categories, each scored 1–10. This isn't about finding the “best” shop overall — it's about finding the right shop for what you need right now.

Quality of coffee itself
The coffee itself — flavor, freshness, preparation quality. Is this a cup you'd remember tomorrow?
The Menu
Variety & options
How many ways can you get your coffee? Do they rotate beans? Are there signature drinks worth trying?
The Space
Atmosphere & comfort
The atmosphere, aesthetics, comfort level, and noise. Would you want to spend an hour here?
